PHYX Stylist is a new collection of video processing tools designed for the FxFactory platform, which plugs into Mac-based pro video programs like Adobe's After Effects and Apple's Final Cut Pro (and Express) and Motion. The package includes a filters and generators to create effects without compromising quality or image density, and for a limited time is on sale for half its normal price.
The filters and generators include "cathode ray" effects such as night vision, "old television," rifle scopes and more; a "fog" generator to simulate moving, breathing fog and allows users control over detail and image diffusion; haze removal tools that take out "grayish" casts and includes a warming filter; a Skin Light option to "bounce" light onto talent's skin, and a sparkle/star generator to create dazzling light effects.
PHYX Stylist is on sale until January 31st for $99 (normally $199). It requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher and Noise Industries' FxFactory plug-in suite.
